Saturday 10 August, 4pm-5.30p This event is for D/deaf and hard of hearing people. Join art historian Serena Cant for a talk on Dutch Marine paintings in the Collection, to celebrate the 310th Anniversary of the Battle of Scheveningen. Learn more about the Anglo-Dutch Wars and how they were recorded by artists such as the van de Veldes. Explore the themes of war and peace, and mood and morals in seventeenth century Dutch paintings.
