New Curator: Pictures pre 1800

The Wallace Collection welcomes a new Curator of Pictures pre 1800. Christoph Martin Vogtherr joins us from the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation, the institution responsible for the former royal palaces in Berlin and Potsdam, where he was curator of French and Italian paintings. Most recently he has worked on a catalogue of the works by Antoine Watteau, Nicolas Lancret and Jean-Baptiste Pater in Berlin and Potsdam, a project supported by the Getty Foundation, Los Angeles. Christoph is particularly looking forward to working more closely with our works.
