A modern, unisex watch with a black rubber strap and steel face. The embossed design on the face has been taken from the backplate of a sixteenth-century, Northern Italian half armour that can be found in the Wallace Collection (A54). The etched panels and borders of the backplate are filled with ornament composed of pieces of armour and weapons scattered on a blackened granular ground.
