About this session
Explore the outdoors through landscape and seascape paintings. Your pupils will learn about the principles of composition and the use of perspective. Working with our museum educator, they will develop new vocabulary to understand and discuss landscape as a genre of painting. Inspired by artists such as Rubens, Canaletto and Salvator Rosa, your pupils will also create their own drawings.
This session can also be delivered in British Sign Language by a Deaf museum educator.
