Join Curatorial Assistant, Julia van Zandvoort, to unlock secrets of our late 17th- and 18th-century furniture. Investigate hidden compartments and gemlike, colourful interiors and learn how these beautiful and outstanding objects were made by some of the finest craftspeople.
About the speaker: Julia van Zandvoort is Curatorial Assistant at the Wallace Collection. Previously, Julia was working on her PhD at The Courtauld Institute of Art, focusing on 16th-century Flemish tapestries, which she is in the process of completing. She has held fellowships from the Rubenianum in Antwerp and the Dutch Institute for Art History in Florence.
